About Us

It is a project by Addepalli Bharat Sai(B19BB002), Aman Prakash(B19BB005), Aniket Wani(B19EE009), Sahil Harpal(B19CSE107), Akshansh Verma (B19BB004), Tanay Anand (B20AI046) and Parth Yaduvanshi (B20CI028) all of them are under-graduate student at IIT Jodhpur. Crowdsourced Participatory Medicine

It is a research study based questionnaire and it is voluntary to participate in the questionnaire. At any time you can ask to remove your submission as a part of this project. Perks for being part of project are: -

  • We will send a personal COVID analysis and Mental health check to first 1000 participants.
  • We will also reward some of the submission which really help us to build the connectivity in the project.
  • Certificate of Participation.

The final aim is to evolve a data-science driven participatory medicine framework for aggregating information from experiences of millions of patients and family members of diverse demographic regions through a data-science driven participatory medicine framework . Towards this we need to evolve a frameworks for aggregating information whose first step is to develop a question bank for seeking comprehensive information.

COVID Symptoms

Although there is no common symptoms of COVID-19 infection and it has shown multiple effects on different persons. This study will help to analyze the symptoms shown by COVID19 on different individuals. Some of the common symptoms include

Fever

Fever is one of the most common symptoms of COVID 19.

Dizziness

Many person affected from COVID-19 complained about feeling dizziness.

Loss of taste and smell

People also reported loss of taste and smell while suffering from COVID-19.

Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

In severe cases of COVID-19 infection people also faced difficulty in breathing or shortness of breathe.

Chest Pain

Many people reported chest pain during the infection.

Loss of appetite

People also faced loss of appetite due to COVID infection.

Aim of this project

The aim of the project is to understand determinants of COVID outcomes from experiences of millions of patients and family members of diverse demographic regions through a data-science driven participatory medicine framework

Development of Data Science framework

A data-science framework will be developed in the project.

Data-science framework will be used to aggregate patient notes and experiences from crowdsourced structured and non-structured data.

Evaluating extrinsic and intrinsic factors

Effects of some intrinsic and extrinsic factors will be evaluated in the project.

In this project we will try to evaluate the effect of intrinsic, extrinsic factors such as environmental, hygiene and social behaviour and cultural practices on outcomes

Assessing the role of different medium.

We will assess the role of different medium in this project.

In this project we will try to assess the role of peer learning, social media and behavioural patterns in patient choice and COVID outcomes

Participatory vs Clinical setting

We will assess the outcomes in participatory vs clinical settings

The outcomes in participatory vs clinical settings will be analyzed and using the results we can inform others to take actions accordingly.
